Joshua M. Pianko is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management Group in Las Vegas, NV. He joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessors in 2002. Josh co-created the Insider Buy Strategy Unit Trust and Separately Managed Account for Morgan Stanley and Invesco (NYSE: IVZ). He has experience developing financial models and programming complex screening applications. His focus is on Fixed Income Portfolios, specializing in Municipals, as well as Family Office solutions that include asset allocation, asset protection, and banking.
Josh is originally from West Orange, New Jersey. He attended college at New York University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After graduation, in 1996 Josh founded his first company, KIDSWONDER, a graphical search engine for children. Josh also developed the online strategies and brand images for Maybelline.com and “Design Your Own Engagement Ring” for De Beers. Most recently, his entrepreneurial spirit to him to Macau, where he started Optica Asia, a leading retailer of luxury eyewear . In 2014 he sold the company to the largest eyewear company, Luxottica.
He currently sits on the board of WAHVE, Letizia Agency, and WilliamWolf. He is a past a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He is also a past board member of the Anti Defamation League (ADL). Josh and his wife, Jessica live in Summerlin with their four children Sayde (13), Charlotte (11), and Jason (8) and Nathan (5).
