It’s always been tough to find good help.  But now food & beverage owners and operators are complaining about how tough it can be to find any help!  Working in a bar or restaurant is tough – the hours suck and so can the customers.  The pay isn’t that good.  Benefits are nonexistent. Millennials are lazy and the flow of immigrants, both legal and illegal, has slowed significantly. Minimum wage might go up to $15.00.  These circumstances can make hiring seem like an impossible task!  Relax…It’s not and we’re here to help.

Professionals associated with the School of Hospitality at Johnson & Wales University are making their mark in a variety of positions and segments in our industry.  We’ve assembled four experts whose unique positions and diversity of experience will provide a variety of strategies and approaches to hiring the best now and going forward.  They represent small, medium and large operations hiring locally, regionally and nationally for positions at the bar, and in the dining room and kitchen.
