On September 26th, 2015, Erick Castro and his crew drove over 4,600 miles across the western USA and hung out with bartenders everywhere they went. Along the way, they documented the craft cocktail scene in places that are too often overlooked. They went to these places to not only shine a spotlight on the bartenders there, but also to talk them about their thoughts & their careers behind the bar.
The results of these travels have been compiled into a documentary titled, Bartender at Large. They did this all without the help of any sponsors, solely to ensure that they maintained full creative control and did not have to compromise the final product.
They hit 11 cities in 5 weeks, with countless bars, breweries, and distilleries thrown into the mix.
