Patrick Kralik

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Patrick inherited his hunger and passion for food and wine. Growing up, Charleston’s cultural and culinary diversity fueled Patrick’s desire to feed his ever- growing epicurean appetite. He worked at craft cocktail and flair bars across the city throughout his teenage years before enlisting in the army, where he learned the true meaning and value of teamwork. Patrick’s work and determination in the army helped him grow as a person and opened his eyes to a completely different perspective. It was also when he realized that the best way to travel and experience the world was with other people and through food.
So upon his honorable discharge from the army, Patrick moved to St. Croix to resume his passion for food, wine, and the culinary life.“My favorite part about food and wine is how it brings everyone together,” he says. “Everything we do in life requires us to eat, and the best complement to good food is good wine and good company.” That belief inspired Patrick to travel the world exploring the wines of different regions. He became a First Level Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers in the Spring of 2014 and plans on becoming a Certified Sommelier in the fall of 2015, he is constantly working to bring his knowledge of craft cocktails and wine to the next level. He’s won several awards throughout the Caribbean and has consulted on numerous award-winning wine menus. For the past four years, Patrick has been named to the Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence”list. When he’s not in the restaurant, Patrick donates his time to help educate other wine enthusiasts and enjoys conducting private tastings for those who share his passion.
